B.C. Canada officially has the highest
concentration of Bald Eagles on the planet
This trip is limited to the first 3
photographers who register
We will be taking a Dodge Diesel 4WD Mega Cab pick-up truck for the workshop
There will be plenty of room for you, your personal gear and your photo
equipment
You
MUST have a valid passport to enter Canada and return to the United States
Cost
of the Brackendale Bald
Eagle Photo Workshop
is $2,995
+ $295 fuel surcharge
We will be leaving the So Cal area on Dec. 28th and arriving in Brackendale
on Dec. 29th
We will be leaving Brackendale on Jan. 5th and returning to Southern California
on Jan. 6th, 2009
Travel to and from the workshop is included in the fee & fuel surcharge
Sleeping accommodations and meals are on your own
We can make recommendations that are in or around Brackendale
The Brackendale Bald
Eagle Photo Workshop will include:
Using a Wimberley Tripod head
Use of a tripod with long telephoto lenses
Photo instruction (beginner to advanced levels)
Set-up of your Custom Functions & Personal Functions on your camera
body
Use of Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority & Manual settings
How to effectively use tele-extenders to increase the focal length of your lenses
Using your cameras Histogram for correct exposure of the subject and the background
Understanding the "right moment" for photographing bald eagles
Using natural light to your advantage for bird photography
Traveling to various areas to find the highest concentration of bald eagles
If you use Canon equipment, I will allow limited use of my personal equipment
which includes long telephoto lenses: 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm & hopefully
the 800mm
